Come to see whales and dolphins in their environment between Tenerife and La Gomera
What will you see?
In the strait between La Gomera and Tenerife there is a universally unique population of approx. 500 Short-finned Pilot Whales and also one of bottlenosed dolphins, being visited by nearly a million of Tenerife visitors.
Other cetacean species have been seen several times (no guarantee to see such), some of the most rare that have been seen include Blue, Sperm, Beaked and Fin Whales and Common and Atlantic Spotted Dolphins.
Where do you start?
You can take part in a lot of organized boat trips starting from Los Gigantes, Los Christianos, Costa Adeje (all in the south of Tenerife).
Excursions are starting twice ore three times a day. Most of these trips include food (snacks or buffet) and beverages on board or when arriving at the marina.
What else?
Some trips drop anchor for swimming and snorkelling in a secluded bay.
Disabled people
Not all boat trips are convenient for disabled people, most trips require a certain mobility to climb the steps to board the boat. Ask before planning the trip, you'll find telephone numbers of the office on the organisers website.

Prices range from approx. 35-50 € (depending on length) for adults and 20-25 € for children.
